Beer Barrel Drunk Cake

The Beer Barrel Drunk Cake is a favourite of mine I made for my brother In Law's 21st birthday.

A simple chocolate cake inside made too look like a overturned beer barrel on the outside.

I covered the cake in rolled icing I coloured and designed to look like "wood grain". 

The male " drunk" figure is made from rolled icing . I was going to have him lay under the tap of the barrel but ended up going for the the position he is in ( across the top ).

I made the "beer" spill from the tap out of toffee set in a puddle shape.

I would love to make this again but try the figure in a different position and maybe have a wine spill and grape vines to deco ??
